Chelsea vs Southampton(3-0) 07/10/2018

After a tough game in the mid week in Europa League, Chelsea takes on Southampton side in the 8th week of the Premier League.
Olivier Giroud was the hero for Chelsea when they travelled to St Mary's last season in the Premier League as he scored a brace off the bench in a stunning 3-2 comeback victory.
This season the Frenchman will likely get the chance to make an impact from the beginning of the game with the striker the preferred option in the Premier League right now. Despite his winning goal against MOL Vidi on Thursday night, that means Alvaro Morata will have head back on to the bench.
Eden Hazard will be aiming to continue his strong start to the season, as he is the leading scorer in the Premier League with six goals in seven matches.
Meanwhile Southampton manager, Mark Hughes was full of praise for Chelsea, as he believes Chelsea can be contenders for silverware again this season, saying: "I think Chelsea will always be a (title) contender, you see the quality of their squad.
"The strength in depth they've got is comparable to all the other top teams. They will go close. They've got a new manager and it seems when Chelsea change management that initial season usually seems to be the one that they are very strong in.
"I feel, given what I've already seen, they will have a strong season and go very close."
Southampton have lost each of their last six matches against Chelsea in all competitions, including three last season and Mark Hughes will be hoping he can change the history this time around.
